Dr Carolyn Block’s roster hours are:
- Monday 8:15 am – 12:30 pm
- Wednesday 8:15 am – 12:30 pm & 1:45 pm – 5:30 pm
- Thursday 8:15 am – 12:30 pm
- Saturday(once per fortnight) 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Dr Carolyn Block has been a GP for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Dr Block is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and she loves the variety of issues that she encounters on a day-to-day basis. She believes that a focus on prevention is critical to good health.
She has particular interest in the care of the whole family, paediatrics and women’s health, and is affiliated in shared antenatal care at Royal Hospital for Women (Randwick). She enjoys the follow-up experience of the care of the neonate and childhood immunisation.
Dr Block has a certificate in family planning and sexual health through Family Planning Australia and can assist with all family planning needs.
Dr Block enjoys supporting her patients’ mental health care and is trained as a mental health provider assisting patients to access clinical psychology under the mental health care plan.
In the past, Dr Block had many years of involvement with the teaching and training of doctors at all levels.
In her free time Dr Block loves spending time with her husband, two children and cat. She loves to travel, try new restaurants and enjoys attending the theatre but above all, she has a passion for baking.
Dr Block is currently not taking new patients.
