Cooper Street Clinic was founded in January 2001 by Professor Kerryn Phelps AM to fulfil the demand for a well-equipped, boutique style general practice providing a broad range of primary medical services in the Double Bay area. Since its inception, we have grown to become one of Australia’s leading general practice clinics. With both male and female general practitioners and an accredited practising dietitian and psychologist available, we aim to make you and your family feel comfortable, safe, well cared for and help you get the most out of life.

Our mission is simple – to provide you with the highest standard of care by embracing current best practice and engaging you in your own health and wellbeing. We believe that good general practice can only be achieved by taking the time to listen to your concerns and needs, and by building a long-term relationship with you. Cooper Street Clinic is fully accredited with GPA accreditation plus, so you can be confident you are receiving the very best care as measured against the standards developed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). We are a fully computerised facility, meaning your medical records are highly secure and up to date.

Cooper Street Clinic is also a teaching surgery for medical students and GP Training Registrars, and is fully accredited through GP Synergy.
